EDUCATION SPONSORSHIP PROJECT
Results so far
Through meager donations and gifts from friend, the project sponsors, vulnerable children to attain education. It sponsors children from Primary level to colleges/universities.
Through years of dedicated service, a total number of 6 orphans have graduated with good grades. And these are:
- Bibian Nankinga finished her BA (Education) from Makerere University. Her graduation party was a wonderful occasion for bringing our young people together.
- Deborah Kuteesa also graduated with a BA (Education) from Ndejje University; she has recently landed on a vacancy to teach in a powerful school.
- Samuel Mwesigwa also graduated with a Bachelor of Information Technology from Kampala International University and now he works as a technician at the University. He was retained.
- Richard Ndizeye also graduated from the Uganda Management Institute with B.IT/PIT MAN.UK,He is now employed with a communication Company, Celtel
- Nicholas Sango also graduated with a B.A (Economics) from Kyambogo University; he now works in a bank as an accounts clerk.
- Jessica Nakiwu finished her Diploma in Beautician from the East African School of Cosmetology.
- Patience also graduated with a bachelor of science in Nursing from Nsambya school of Nursing.
- Jacqueline also graduated with a bachelor of entrepreneurship from Makerere University.
- Clare Nampijja graduates this year with a degree of Information Technology of Makerere University.
- Doreen Nakayiza has just finished her Business Administration from Makerere University Business School.
Other are still in Universities and colleges and many are still in Primary and secondary levels. The project has distributed over 50,500 scholastic materials which include books, pencils, mathematical sets, bags to mention but a few to children.
REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH PROMOTION PROJECT
The project focuses on passing health related messages to these orphans and vulnerable children in schools. Emphasis is put on Hiv/ Aids prevention as well as preventing other sexually Transmitted Diseases/Infections.Counselling is an entry point for behavior change and healthful living among children.
